Played. Found another gold, which, again, probably is between us and another team. The screenshot shows proposed Scout movements for the next 2 turns

The gold is interesting, and the direction does seem to imply that we are in the southwest of the ring and not the northeast. Assuming it really is a ring, of course.

If we want to reveal what is around the gold I would go E-NE onto the deer hill, to reveal the tiles north of the gold. The following move might have to be S-E onto the gold, or S-SE into forest. Or we could ignore the gold for now and go SE-SW to continue revealing land closer to the capital.

We're up. Not a lot of discussion about this current turn. I think S-SE with the scout as suggested seems fine.
