Quote:Hi guys,
Just a quick note:
I'm happy to declare peace, however existing agreements prevent me from teleporting your warrior across the water. However there is a possibility that there is a land bridge across the north of the sea, and if you head northwest you should find it if it exists.
-sunrise
I'm uncertain of what existing agreements could prevent that, but we sign Peace and are teleported North.
Tyler moved NE again to reveal more empty coast.

Tyler moved NE again to reveal more empty coast. How does one choose to get teleported where? IE How could Sunrise choose which direction to put you in? I thought the game decided based on where you are located within the territory.

Oh Kalin, seems you've got a friend...

Up late and quite tired, but I'd say let's go for it! I know it's early, but I feel it's better to take the initiative. If you cannot reply, I'll reply to Broker tomorrow. BTW, I haven't said anything, it was all his own initiative

Apologies for the long delay in updating. Both Dreylin and I have been quite busy.
A lot of things have happened! Domestically, a worker finished and farmed the corn, then it moved 1E of the capital and would chop then mine the forest. The chop will go into a 2nd worker or a settler, still to be decided. Then it would camp the elephants. We also built a second scout (I, Kalin, was a bit skeptical with the whole menagerie running around, but Dreylin convinced me). We will now finish a warrior for MP to coincide with growth at size 4. Then it will be worker/settler probably in this order.
We plan to found our second city 5S1E of the capital to grab rice, copper, and pigs when we can dig them out of the jungle. Our second scout will move 1SE of the city spot to reveal the whole area.
The most exciting news however was on the diplomatic front. We have reached tentative deals for a large tech trade and have sent a proposal to formalize these deals. The deals are as follows: the League will research Alphabet, sunrise Monarchy, broker IW + Sailing, regoarrarr Mathematics, then everybody will get everything. Rego mentioned trying to get ZPV in the deal adding HBR.
That's it for the moment, we'll update with more details hopefully soon.

We have also recently me Krill and Memphus on the Incans -a fearsome team for anyone who has seen their work with SANCTA. They came down from the North of sunrise - possibly through the fabled Northeast passage - and we are just starting to feel each other out. If there's one area they seem to lack it's diplomacy, so maybe we can work that to our advantage.
@kalin; I took the t34 moves mostly as suggested, and left suggestions for next turn. Primo moved NW out into the open - no animals in sight - principally because the Bear came back from the South and would have been able to attack the spot you indicated. Our second Scout - who you need to name - moved as planned and revealed not much to the SE, but there's still stuff to see.
There's two spots of fog just to NW and E of our borders; do you think we can send the new Warrior due next turn (Twitch) to de-fog them? That would put him 4tiles from the city.
Re: Broker, are we planning to allow him to declare war and pass through our borders - if so we probably want to keep Twitch in place until he's passed. Also, has he mentioned meeting anyone else? I was checking the EP numbers and he has spent less vs. us than we vs. him - the only way that can happen is if he's been spending them against another civ. I didn't see any mention of it from him, though I haven't necessarily checked thoroughly.
EP-wise, next turn we probably want to split 3-sunrise, 1-broker to maintain both sets of demogs; and then turn after put all 4 against the Incas - sine they're most likely closer than regoarrarr.
I queues a Worker next in Lin, as I think that's what we agreed - chop completes next turn.

Good decision about Primo! My suggestion was of course meant to be "safer" and avoid the bear.
As I mentioned in an email, I am pretty sure we want a worker next. We need more commerce and that means riverside mines + camp as well as road to the new cities which would need worker turns.
I am not that familiar with the EP slider, but if there are two people we want to see, those are sunrise and broker imo.
I suggest that broker's scout move N only and stays within a 1-tile buffer of the capital. I don't think he can see inside and at this point we can do a warrior in 3 turns easy and even in 2 with some overflow (1H). Regarding the war, we should make it sound as a little favor as I don't think he would have dared do it just like that. Also, I mentioned we would help him meet sunrise/rego...

OK, sorry for the delay, but here's an update of the last few turns.
The water to the East of Lin is actually a Big 'ol Lake - with some Fish in it - and there's a Southern route across to sunrise, which Romeo (our second Scout is exploring). In the NE, Primo has discovered what looks to be the fabled NE passage to Rego et. al., however has had to pause to recover from a Bear attack. NW is being explored by Tyler - not much to say. Scouting Bob has found the Southern edge of the map ... and a dead-end.
Tarquin, or first Worker has complete a river-side mine, and is now Camping the Elephants. Our second Worker (to be named) has moved S onto a forest hill intending to start creating a connection to our second city site - for the Copper/Pigs&Rice. There's some debate right now about how that can be accomplished.
Twitch - our MP Warrior for Lin - is about to finish de-foggng the immeiate vicinity of Lin, then will rturn for duty. We decided to build two additional Warriors before our first and second Settlers; the first - Quesy Bill - is now headed SW towards the Wines (more on this later). The second will be MP/guard for our first Settler.
Diplomatically, we have been skirting around contact with the Incan team, having collectively decided that our tech alliance is best off with only 5 members. We have also started sounding out sunrise for a longer-term relationship including discussion of division of lands. Our relationship with broker is a bit more complicated - he has stated an intention of settling a city 1N of the Wines which is a bit closer than we are maybe comfortable with. On the other hand, he has indicated a desire for us to share a long demilitarised "Canadian Border", so we're a bit uncertain at the moment.
Oh, and based on confirmation from broker, rego, and our knowledge of our and sunrise's capitals, we have concluded that everyone has elephants at the capital ... but you knew that!
We also don't have Horses.
