Then they run the espionage slider and steal techs from us. I'd encourage them to go toward Nationhood so they can swap us back there if needed.

I have no idea if the costs involved would make any of this viable for WPC.

That is a good idea. We could pay them gold for the EPs they spend on switching our civics and religion.
I have to run.

Quoted for emphasis. Awesome idea.

I'm going to be quite busy today, and the coming days, so won't be able to do anything C&D related (and I'm away from Civ too).

Anyway, according to Civstats Apolyton just performed 7 1-pop whips/drafts and 1 2-pop whip. I think we need to raise our war readiness meter to at least yellow.

I did fill in espionage numbers for the previous turn (via APTmod - use the values Destruir produccion and Robar Tecnologa in the production tracking - the labels in APTmod are wrong, for some reason), but never got to the various whips that were done last turn.

How much did average rival power go up by? Multiply that by number of rivals, minus pop lost, and we can confirm which if they really just popped out 4 jans. Well, they probably did. I expect the Jans are staying on the rear lines to guard against CivFR as they send their rifles at us.

I suspect that half the reason CPers were down with sending gold to Apolyton was because the terms of deal force Apolyton to attack us with X number of rifles, so to hopefully give CPers an opening to take Brick-by-Brick.

Well it could also be: "Let's not renew our NAPs to deny RB the security. We will provide rifles for both of us to make sure we are safe without NAPs".

Or it could be anywhere in between such as Poly hopes to score <5 cities or something.

Also according to civstats, CP whipped 6 cities this turn. I think it's 2 2-pop whips and 4 1-pop whips.

Edit: 3 2-pop and 4 1-pop now, if I'm reading civstats correctly (2-3 points = 1 pop, 4-5 points = 2 pop, right?)

havent been into the C&D sheet in some time - is there critical stuff that needs to be kept up to date while you are away KJN?

I have no time, but could try to squeeze some in.

One thing that might be useful is the CivFr/CFC War Weariness tracker. Would be nice to see if they are still in a hot war or not lacking a chariot in that area.

well wpc doesnt have code of laws either. w/o courthouses or the espionage slider, its going to be difficult for them to get the EP's to steal any tech.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
