Getting handed 1000 gpt randomly wouldn't ether; which was my point.

The thing that makes NAPs overpowered is that you can wager your honor which is outside the gameboard. So is declaring a vendetta against someone. I think overtime standards would start to decay which would cause NAPs to go away. There's was at least one game were there was a NAP-stab before RB started doing no diplo.

And that's why it's expected that nobody will give his empire to another player.

Allowing diplo would make this even worse. My point wasn't getting handed 1000 gpt is a joke but getting handed 1000 gpt randomly shows how silly no diplo is. The game isn't setup to handle it.

As always, you assume that just because it wasn't explicitly banned means it's allowed. We haven't explicitly banned DDoSing the Pitboss server while your opponent is trying to play, clearly players can do that too if they want.

That's just simple cheating and not just being an asshole. nono

Seriously, LP's alpha strike in PB#4 was worse because it was explicitly against the rules. Granted no-one fought because the game was over anyway but this game's lack of organization and gold-gifting not being even hinted at in the rules (cities aren't gold!) should be just as good. You could make the argument that this goes against RB's spirit but from Krill's perspective BGN is already way over that line. And miscommunications like this are enviable with no-diplo so that line will always be crossed.

Oh, ww doesn't decay so BGN is screwed which makes 1000gpt overkill. I don't think it's fair to take out every single city but there's nothing to be done now (even if you could talk it's changing the rules in the middle of a match which should require every single person to agree and Krill wouldn't agree).

Huh? Bgn didn't lose a whole lot of units, he's dealt with worse weariness in his other wars, I'm sure.

What rule change are you talking about?

I'm talking about eventually... The rule change would be forcing someone to sign peace when they cannot attack you anymore. But due to the map being full that shouldn't matter but it could if someone deliberately defends Krill's last city to slow down BGN.

I suppose wetbandit could take them out instead and make some gains, but this doesn't help Krill either. I'm sure neither of those civs would appreciate being eliminated by a gifted stack.

I suspect both would appreciate being eliminated by no matter what stack. Well, Xenu maybe not. He might as well piracy-invade somebody's irrelevant island city just to survive and keep his fleet on the seas
