 Thanks for the XP. I lost 3 cats and a HA to kill this. Grimace is going down to Elum, demos are meh.  Broad overview : Agent has a mace a chariot and 2 impis SW of where his stack was. I decided not to bother with them, maybe it was a mistake but they're in a forest which makes things difficult. What is he doing ? No idea, he's got two triremes in the seas annoying Mhlhalandelus but no galley to threaten the city. I think I'm still behind Whosit and CH in power so I'm now in front of him. Guilds in 3. I got a GG which I have no idea how to use. Put him on the other chariot for a free upgrade and a combat 5 knight ? In any case I don't think I should wait for knight builds to move forward, once the stack is healed and ready to move I'm taking back my city (razing it ?) then moving on to gold city pig city and filler city. Long term I need more catas and crossbows, and knights are coming. Too many possibilities ! BTW Agent renamed the city Red Blood which is fitting considering the number of units that died there, but we'll soon see a new, better city 1W of that. Sorry for the low amount of screenshots, especially after a few days not reporting, I might have time for a better documented report tomorrow.  Great work! Did you surprise him? How beat up is your stack? Given how fast Knights catch up I don't think you need to hang around. Your stack is pretty good and if you can complete a bunch of knights the turn after you get guilds they'll give any attack a lot more impetus when they get to the front  . Have you got workers to build new roads for you?I'd recommend burning the city and settling it on the coast to share food with your Moai city - new tiles for the Moai are costing you ~25 food + the cost of an MP unit whereas a new city will only cost 11-15 food for each new tile (with a granary and at size 1-5) and workshops and farms are soon going to be better than Moai coast.

No surprise actually ! Last turn he put his stack 1S of where he was this turn, and I messed up some movements : my units had to stay where they were or I'd let him take out a crossbow and one or two other guys. His HA had sentry, and I thought that if he was to see my crossbow I'd lose the advantage of surprise, so I could just as well leave all my units in plain sight. I expected him to retreat quickly, but he went forward instead... I have 2 out of my last 3 remaining cats and 4 HAs out of my 9 that are in pretty bad shape, but the rest is either at full strength or close enough. I'm considering moving forward next turn.
 The two workers waiting for the horses to be in the culture (in 4t) can rebuild the road, I have another worker relocating to this area. The idea of using the GG to upgrade a HA into a C5 knight looks better each time I think about it. I also noticed there is nothing in the gold city, maybe upgrading a HA to morale would be useful ? If I could snipe the city it could save me a lot of time.
A trick I learned from THH is to just take the GG with your stack, then you can be flexible/use him for promo healing.
Alternatively would settling him in your main military pump get you 10XP Knights? If you're planning to get another 20 units out of it by the end of the game then settling could be worth it. Especially if you're likely to build the HE any time soon...

It would bring it to 7xp no ? 3xp barracks 2xp vassalage ? With stables it's 9xp total ? Tech plan is guilds->Priesthood->CoL->Aesthetics->literature for HE and NE->music if the artist is still hanging (TGL is still unclaimed, I wonder if I have a chance ?)
At t150 I doubt it. Are you sure the Music artist hasn't fallen yet? If not then I guess you've got a chance, but I thought at least a couple of people had Aesthetics last time I checked GNP.

Yeah but I feel like they just wanted SoZ. At least that's the only explanation I have for no one taking TGL until now. I'm pretty sure the music artist hasn't fallen, I checked some time ago and no artist had spawned, I haven't looked closely but I think that's still the case. My 3 man GA would be easier to get with an artist plus scientist from Qunum plus whatever Moai city can give me.
