I'm suddenly getting a different game files version error when logging in. Was working fine earlier today and nothing has changed since, should I just ignore it and log in anyway?

I'd try again. There might have been something weird with my connection, as I was logged in recently.
EDIT: I'm not sure I was clear: I was logged in perfectly fine for myself, but it was a weak connection, and might have done something weird to you trying to log in.
I went to log in to finish my turn now that I'd simed some stuff out, but the game appears to be down...

Sorry guys, I flipped a light switch without thinking and turned off the PC. I've moved it to a different outlet and started each game back up.
This also gave me a good opportunity to photograph where the magic happens:

nice job on the freshly painted room - did you do that? You can see the power points / outlets are missing their covers. Just love the internet wiring with basic 'hole in the wall' method.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

The turn rolled extremely early. It'll be 8AM when our turn chunk ends and I doubt we will be able to play by then. sorry

Not butterscotch wood, they actually pained everything butterscotch color We've repainted everything upstairs but I've not replaced all of the outlet covers yet. I actually plan to replace all of the outlets themselves since when the old owners pained their walls they just painted right over the outlets and so the plugs have paint inside them which makes getting a good connection tough.
