Hey Mr. Nice Guy, are you still logged in? I can't seem to sign in to end turn; something about your firewall not being configured correctly. Civstats shows that you logged out (plus the whole AI thing), so not sure what's going on.

I'm still getting stuck on the "finishing" screen but aborted the sign-in process this time when it asked for a password. Civstats now finally shows me as "out" ... will it let you in now?

I know my odds on this are low, especially as this is a nothing weekend for the non US based players, but is there any chance we can get a pause for Memorial Day weekend (May 28-31)? RefSteel will be out of town, and I'll be at a convention that I help fund and run, and thus will barely have time to sleep 2-4hrs a night without having to worry about this game. If we can't get a pause, we'll likely end up missing as much as 4 consecutive turns.

I'll probably want a pause that weekend, as well, as I'll be moving and would like to have 1 less game to worry about.

Remember, we have official pauses for this game (what the heck though - we made an elaborate system for them and no one has asked for a pause wink). Each civ has 4 pauses that are each worth one turn. Is it possible something like queued moves for the first turn or moves made by a lurker plus some amount of pauses would work?

EDIT: Rather than Maniac's team loosing too many pauses, why not split with Cynehear'd team. That way you can each use 1-2 pauses each.

Was it 1 pause = 1 turn paused? I thought it was just 4 pauses. How exactly would you know how long the turn would have taken while it was paused anyway?

If the clock runs to 0, a turn takes about 30 hours. So, I'd say 3 pauses over 4 days (including some overrun from the previous turn being successfully played but not ended).

We'll split pauses, that's fine. Since I might be busy until June 1 (the move-in's a little fluid), how about we plan on Maya - England - Maya - England (if necessary), unless lurkers/teammates can fully cover the slack? That's about 20t away, so it's hard for me to predict how complex the turns will be.
