Clerics and Paladins can resurrect party members when they have high level spells.

I think Druids can also do it at an even higher level?

Munchkins are min-maxers who are more focused on “beating the game” to the absolute detriment of role playing. The person who spends two hours figuring out their skill build and 30 seconds on their character’s backstory.

Grognard is anyone who’s stuck on the past editions of the game and likely complaining about “you kids who don’t know what it was like when ACs were negative and that THAC0 was an amazing mechanic and you just don’t get it”.

I hadn't heard the term Grognard before but that'd likely be me as well.  Not only were ACs negative but THAC0 wasn't a thing yet, natural 20 wasn't always enough to hit, saving throws were on tables and initiative was rolled on a d6.

It's also an older term for veteran wargamers, the guys who really like Gary Grigsby games and tons of spreadsheets and exhaustively detailed unit stats. It's from the French for "veteran," referring to old Napoleonic soldiers.

I think most people posting on a Civilization 4 forum in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty probably count as grognards.
