I couldn't think of a better title so here's a cool picture to anti-spoil!

Since we missed our turn, I have had plenty of time to post a microplan for my capitol to get a GM by T12. Go 4 food capitol! I'm sure everyone else has that silly start as well lest they yell at us after the game.
Anways, no current pictures as I'm having display issues (print screen takes picture of desktop when civ4 is maxxed). Plan is as follows:
T1:
-Settle Capitol like so.
-Begin chopping the grass hill forest for 10 hammers
-Work plains hill for 3 turns for 2 hammers
T3:
-Chop comes in and we make 20 hammers.
T4:
-Make fishing nets on fish and switch to working fish
T6:
-Reach Size 2
-Run 1 GM
T8:
-Reach Size 3
-Work 3 merchants
T10:
-Work 2 Merchants and Netted Fish
T12:
-I get merchant and reach 40 hammers for my 2nd work boat.
As for my second city, it is going 1S of copper. Its not a great location but its quite defensible and I need to hook up with Lewwyn.

So I found some gold to my SW. It would take a fair amount of investment to settle early due to all the hills around it.

Ew, the turn rolled at a really bad moment for me. If I don't play by 10PM CST, can one of your guys move my units around? We should be good for tiles and such.

OK, I've played the turns for China and Ottomans. I'll wait for Lewwyn to do India.
I had the worker build a road on the plains hill, since there's just not much for him to do in the Ottoman start.
Also, this is a useful trick that I wish we'd known about earlier.

Well, he was going to run to the copper... :\
I'm not really up to exploiting our way for the win. Is culture production effected by modifiers? That would be quite powerful with the amount of hills in certain places.

Yeah, you get all production modifiers when you build culture, research, wealth. But not the modifiers for that particular thing you're building, or else it'd be double dipping.

I guess you need to replay your last turn.

I found brown borders. They are fairly SW but its settled pretty much 2 cities S of Lewwyn capitol. It looks like the columns are staggered a bit to increase rush distances.

Here's the picture of the brown borders. Looks like Speaker's color.
