i change my vote to Archipelago.

I assumed superdeath was joking. Global highlands would work fine as a script so long as it's checked for resources.

I did as well. I just thought it would be good to clearly communicate just in case I was wrong.

I'm fine with every map (okay, archipel is not the best script), but I would like to throw another script in the ring.
Rainforest
many food ressources, few plaintiles
Problems: Jungle everywhere, sometimes huge deserts without floodplains, barbs

Pangaea with capitals moved and some of the worst terrain edited is a good script.
Highlands isnt bad, but iirc its alot of plains and hills. Would need alot of edited in food?
And yes, while I myself would love to play Archipelago.. it isnt the best greens script.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. ![[Image: noidea.gif]](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/noidea.gif) In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Full of resources would allow you to naturally put more food in a highlands script, as was mentioned.

Do we have instructions anywhere on how to install the Close to Home mod? I think I've seen them before but can't find them now.

You download the zip from the github page and extract it in the mods folder
For steam downloads, that's Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods.
if it is installed elsewhere, just make sure it is in the Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods folder and not higher up in the directory

Also make sure not to install it in MyGames/BeyondTheSword. There is a mod folder there too.
Follow the instruction on this page https://civ.zulan.net/pbspy/game/119/ under Game Description -> Tools.
