Looking good!
Why would you want to build a Market in Killer Shrew though? It's not making that much commerce if I recall correctly. The city does look like a great Production center once we start spamming Watermills and build a Levee.
It's too bad we don't have a city near the plains site to the south, with the four lake tiles. It would have made for a much better Maoi city than Devil Fish.
Also, replied to M7:
Quote:Hi,
I'm sorry we took a while replying to you. I guess me and Gaspar were kind of expecting the other to compose an answer...
You mention a combined war effort, against who?
About the NAP, Gaspar and I don't feel comfortable enough in the game to start signing NAP's.

Ilios

Eh, I've kind of got a thing for Markets. Make it so much more efficient to run tax. I agree that its a production site long run. I also agree that I really don't like Devil Fish as a Moai site, but I also couldn't quite finger a different one we could settle early enough to matter.
I also think your idea that we'll ever see levees to be extraordinarily optimistic.
Message to M7 looks good, thanks for sending it.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Nakor, just as a heads up, I've played the turn, and will send it on soon, and post a couple of screenshots.

So, 160 AD:
Hopefully, we'll be getting our own Scientist to play with soon.
I hesitated to work the grass farm instead of the forest, but I couldn't guarantee we'd get that gold tile connected in time. It's heavy on hammers this site, so I didn't really want to slave out the Market. You can do so next turn should you prefer.
Also, I posted a sign on a site which I think would be a great site, to the capital's west.
Maybe grow Killer Shrews a size while working on a Market, then finish Settler?

Jumped into get this, since it sat a while and I don't want to be the reason the game is so slow.
No builds complete this turn. We'll save gold for one more turn then turn research back on for MC. I went ahead and 3-pop whipped the Courthouse in Diabolik. City grows so fast. I decided to queue a library in front of Moai in Devil Fish. We can 2 pop whip at max overflow to come close to finishing Moai, since its nearing happy cap. If were going to work a bunch of 2/1/2 tiles, might as well get the science multiplier.
This turn, luddite founded Taoism and plako triple-revolted, including Bureaucracy, so we're well behind the curve in tech here. I like your proposed next city site, but we'll definitely need to research IW after MC for it, which we probably should be doing anyway. Next few cities should go to the jungle, though we should probably also plant a city or two on the rails soonish. For lurkers, here's the site:
That's all the news from this turn.

I'm going to assume Luddite burned the GrScientist to found Taoism.
Bureaucracy? Damn...
Yeah I was going to ask you to queue a Library, and then I forgot...
Oh well, great minds think alike!
