Darrell Crap ... lets look at the games ...
- 13/06 - Germany v Australia - Germany start their WC campaign as per usual, slowly ... result 0:0 or 1:1
- 13/06 - Serbia v Ghana - Serbia run into an energized Ghana and trail for most of the game, coming back to draw 1:1 (or maybe lose 2:1)
Ghana - 3pts (2-1)
Aust - 1pt (1-1)
Germany - 1pt (1-1)
Serbia - 0pts (1-2)
- 18/06 - Germany v Serbia - Germany get on a role, win 3:1
- 19/06 - Ghana v Australia - Australia lift, Ghana spent all their energy in the first game ... Aust win 3:0
Aust - 4pts (4-1)
Germany - 4pts (4-2)
Ghana - 3pts (3-4)
Serbia - 0pts (1-5)
- 23/06 - Ghana v Germany - Ghana, ashamed of their previous game hold Germany to a 0:0 draw.
- 23/06 - Australia v Serbia - Serbia need to win throwing everything into the game. Concede an early goal but level it up near full time ... result 1:1
Aust - 5pts (5-2)
Germany - 5pts (4-2)
Ghana - 4pts (3-4)
Serbia - 1pts (2-6)
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Actually, the term is psychopathic, but that doesn't make it any more flattering.
I have to run.

Australia head of the group before the "Mannschaft", now that's wishful thinking...
PS My favourite football quote is from England striker Gary Lineker:
"Football is a game for 22 people that run around, play the ball, and in the end Germany always wins."
PPS But Dutch legend Johan Cruyff, whose wise words never fail to inspire, is the king of great meaningless quotes:
"Every disadvantage has its advantage"
"Before I make a mistake, I don't make the mistake"
"If I wanted you to understand, I'd explain it better"
Off topic? You betcha!

Wow.
Unless someone changed the rules on me recently, parking a Caravel in the waters of someone with whom you are not at war has zero effect and it's not like it can actually do any pillaging.
If you didn't want me exploring your territorial waters, then a polite e-mail asking me not to might have worked....

And what is stopping you from declaring war next turn?
And sorry, but I had to play 2 PBEM turns in 15 minutes after I raced home from work. I didn't have any time for any diplomacy, and did nothing else other than a quick scan of the RBPB3 IT thread. I've not had any time to do anything until I got back from work (it has been a busy day), and then I see that post. What doyouwant me to say? Here are the locationsof my military?

The fact that I'm not a war-mongering bastard, maybe?

I seem to recall several instances of you wiping out opposing civs and talking the talk when it was in your interests...
