1. HRE is always going to be my territorial enemy
2. As a 2nd wave HRE proposed to bring a measly 6 units.
3. Jowy has been pretty silly publicly.
4. Greece + Ottomans let India see their stack early
5. Whosit blundered with OB and declaring war.

The 5 things that are really REALLY making me consider ditching CoW right now. If we had done this properly India would likely be stuck with Gettys + Antietam by now and have no copper or horses.

Peace would massively help my research and I'm definately leaning that way.

Emailed India asking if they were available for a chat over the weekend, we'll see how that goes...

Isn't that a bit of a backstab, considering the agreements the CoW originally put in place?

Got a date on those agreements? Possible they were made before I joined, if not I'll search through the billion or so emails exchanged

Sure its half a backstab (since I won't actually be fighting CoW after making peace) but this war hasn't helped Romali one bit and India isn't going down now they've got cats + whosit missed his chance vs Fred

Had a look through emails I've had from CoW and found no agreements.

I have made peace with India, I will not be providing them with info on CoW for the next 10 turns

Have you allied with Spulla? If you did you might as well go all the way...

Not allied but not aggressive to them. I'm trying to stay firmly neutral in the war right now although I would expect CoW to have at least considered attacking me (I don't think I have NAP's with Greece/Ottomans/Rome).

However attacking me would go against what CoW want to achieve since if successful it gives HRE + India more land. I doubt Jowy/Yaz would be happy since they'd be firmly relegated to a bottom feeder civ with plako.

Spulla have probably posted it in their thread, but they emailed me to say Whosit's Praets have retreated to their galleys and could possibly come my way. I think they may be able to get to Kumbi Saleh before my army returns so I hope not. Spulla have offered military assistance should he attack but it would clearly be too late to save that city.

Are you planning anything? I'm assuming that you plan to do nothing but tech along and found cities now that you have made Spulla expand AWAY from you. Is this true?

Been planning to update this with pictures but I never get around to it.

Was planning on attacking HRE at T150 but thats a no-go with them having longbows available and possibly Xbows soon (heh typed Xboxs).

So I think I'll fill out my land and stay away from war, assuming it stays away from me. Really want Korea (plako) to survive but don't see that being likely in the circumstances

I'm essentially India's buffer to the south and I expect them to kill off Greece whenever they feel like it
