so, I've been doing some analysis and I'm not quite I understand the numbers, but whatever

From pop:

top is 3774000 (sticks)
bottom is 1953000 (kjn, as it turns out)
middle is 2433000 (catwalk)

I know the pops of 5 of sticks cities - Pelvis (5), Tibia (12), Ulna (8) , New Scapula (10) and Sternum (14, from top cities). That means he has 1 more city of size 4 somewhere.

Cat has 4 cities - size 12, 11, 9 and 5.

kjn has 3 cities I know the sizes of - 10, 8 and 5 (I can see 2 of them and the other is in top cities) The BEST estimate I can get for his cities is 5 more - 11, 7, 6, 3, 2, and 1. That kind of screws up the total pop, though.

ahh... no, kjn probably has 2 size 5, 2 size 8, 1 size 9 and 1 size 10 city.

Still have a hard time reconciling sticks pop (in the victory screen) with my pop, though - I show up as 28.95% of pop and he shows up there with 27%, but my best guess is that I have 55 of 190 and he has 53 of 190, which is 28.95 and 27.9. Maybe they just cut off the numbers for the other people?

bunch of whips - forge in Be, xbow in Interjection, mace in Muscle (overflowing into my 1 turn HE), granary in silvery. Moving the explorer south to get a look at KJN's land. I hope the explorer is just left alone - nothing he has can get odds on it if it's on a hill or in a forest, so that's helpful.

catwalk replanted his horse city, with a LB in it!! so, not razing that any time soon don't really need to, cause it can't steal tiles from Be easily.

Stick is building up a force near Be - maces and axes, so I'm going to turn be into a mil city...

ok - tentative short term plans:

Lit->Drama. Theaters in Be (for Globe),Interjection, Lava and one of Pitch, Silvery or Article. Article may be the one - fighting a culture war with Ranneslatt. Which is, I think, building the Sistine Chapel. At least, he's got some 360 hammers invested and that's the only thing I think he could be building there.

Save cash and get meditation and priesthood along the way, then philo->nationalism, hoping to get Taj along with MoM. After that, it's on to Education - stick will get liberalism, i guess.

I definitely want to plant a city in the south, to be a border city with kjn and protect Pitch, which is becoming a pretty important city with wonders (and will likely be where I build Taj.)

Militarily:

I think a military solution to the Ranneslatt question is the answer. What do I need to take it?

It has 1 skirmisher in it. he's 2 turns from engineering, so he'll be able to have pikes.

I haven't shown this before, but he has a force of 3 crossbows, a skirmisher and a cat out of sight behind Ranneslatt. Well, not out of sight for a sentry chariot on a hill with optics



He might have more and it's a 2 turn trip to hit Ranneslatt with anything more than war chariots.

So, it will have some 5-8 defenders, many of which are crossbows. That's a tough nut to crack, with a 40-60% culture defense. I'll probably need 4 or 5 cats and some 10-15 hitters. A lot of those can be war chariots, though, which are cheap.

I know nothing about him, other than Commodore kicked him around some in PB5. This is a signficant change. I was pretty sure that catwalk wasn't going to attack me... I don't know that about celiazul and, frankly, he's got a stack large enough to do some serious damage to me if he comes at me.

That said - I wanna kill sistine chapel before it does too much damage. I think it's time for a serious push on military while I go sacrifice a large stack on kjn...
