You are truly my magic figurehead Noble.

Sadly, the barbarians are not mastering the art of the quick growth curve. Still a couple of hamlets. Here they are, ready to be plucked:

And on the subject of not mastering the quick growth curve, here is the evidence that I'm not going to win the game:

eek

On the bright side, in 2 turns I'll have two more settlers. However at that point my gnp will start to crash, apart from my towned up capital, I'm not bringing in the cash anymore. So I'm going to have to start building ziggurats and growing my fishing cities onto the coast a bit more.

Looks like it'll only have +1 food. Are you sure you want it?

Which city? The east one looks very good really - and should grow very fast.

The west one - I didn't see that it gets sheep when the borders pop, so if you can wait 14 turns for it to grow and however many turns before the borders pop it's a decent place to attack.

Sorry, tis not a very good picture. Its actually got 2 tundra deer and a sheep that could be shared with a marble city. +5 food surplus all together, +7 with lighthouse and lake. Otherwise its all plains, but that's worth having for sure.

You do not inherit someone else's border pops.

Barb cities very rarely pop their borders.

(This is a non-sequitur off, right?)

I misread your sentence actually, it sounded like you were saying that he should wait until the borders pop before attacking.

Barb cities never pop borders in normal BtS; they do once in a blue moon in RBmod because they can and do make barracks at times.

Thracian's working the flood plain, so if it hasn't grown after five turns you're probably seeing a worker build.

Barracks pop borders now eh? Well now I feel like a noob, I should have built them in Jolly Roger earlier. At least I'll have them up in another turn or two.
