Happy Birthday!!
Though you should be thanking the mapmaker for that capital, not me.

I don't know how pleased Mardoc will be with that praise.
Thoth, what do you think about settling on the current desert hill? Lose the river silver, but keep coastal access, one more forest, and three grass hills opposed to 1 grass hill and 2 desert hills. Not sure how I feel about it.

Hmmmm. That river silver is tough to give up. On the hill is a slightly better long term cap but losing the river Siler is a huge chunk of early commerce.
If we do settle on the hill, how fast can we get a settler on the board to settle for the silver?

First of all I think the scout needs to move NE-NW onto that northern desert forest hill. I would want to know what the terrain is for a theoretical forward north plant as that would have some effect on capital valuations.
I think if the plan is worker quechua*2 settler, then the timings are worker eot17, pig t22, grow eot 23, grass cow t25, grow eot26, plains cow t29, grow @4 eot29, second Quechua eot30, corn t34. Doesn't matter where we settle, desert hill or plains same timings. Settler eot36. First Quechua eot27 at the latest. Easily sped up with minor effect on growth.
I think double worker is better and then chop that settler. That gives worker eot34 and settler eot38 with a double chop. Fuck only need 1 chop to do that I think, 19hpt*4+20+7 overflow = 103.

The only real weakness with this is to an interfering warrior. More about that later.

Yeah I think the plains tile is still best. The commerce is too important to give up.
