I think Vanguard just gifted all these cities to Xist10/Ginger. After gifting them his entire army, too; CivForum really is the Wild West of civ games, huh. So much for the war that was supposed to let us catch up, I guess.


I'd give it 10 turns before we get attacked. Although, before Xist attacked Vanguard in the first place, that was already the case. So I guess there's not much difference, other than a bit of awe at the audacity of it all.

Problem solved! They gave me 150 gold instead, which I'm pretty sure is a great deal for me, because of whip overflow, but oh well. It's not going to matter. It's been fun building castles in my Christian sandpit, but I'm pretty sure the end is nigh:  




Vanguard, for their part, is dying in the corner. We'll outlive them, at least. Honestly, good riddance. Maybe next time don't gift your army away, and then 6 cities to the person who betrayed you.
