Reminder for later, I am required to instantly declare war on the following players upon making contact:
- dtay (I don't remember why, something from the setup phase, probably to do with him being a Patriots fan)
- BGN (for putting a picture of the Mango Mussolini in the tech thread, even if it was behind a spoiler, even if he was making fun of him, because I ended up seeing it. I have enough anger issues without encouragement or cause and that fucking guy grinning like an idiot triggers my anger reflex).
- German Joey (for an innocuous tech thread post referencing my PYFT rating).
This list will be updated as necessary frequently as the game goes on.

A new poll is up. I promise not to manipulate the vote tally this time.

Poll results are close and as of now unaltered (as far as any of you know) but it seems I should declare war on the first person I meet, whenever that is.
Thirteen turns in I have a worker working and a scout that is still alive and scouting. I've come across some annoyingly located lions that have made scouting inefficient. That's the game summary for now.
I need an idea for a new poll but since I don't have one I'll solicit lurker suggestions instead. Failing that, maybe I can post a poll to let you guys vote on my next tech choice. Yay democracy.

If you were really committed to this you would follow Twitch Plays Pokemon. Make all unit movements open to lurker direction. First come first served.

I'm sure this isn't a recipe for success but it sounds fun. Here's your first opportunity:
Our scout (named Struts...Kerbal Space Program naming scheme) survived a panther attack last turn, down to 0.5 health. This turn I kept exploring. Twitch Plays Civ decision, does Struts keep exploring or sit around forever to heal first?
Along these lines, we're 7 turns from completing Bronze Working and we'll need a new tech. Twitch will need to choose a new one by then.
Edit: New poll -- Praise Lord Helix?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Struts is healing, that'll take six turns apparently. This clearly isn't the optimal move but that's how Twitch Plays Civ. Also, while sitting and healing Struts will probably encounter the first morale promoted bear in the history of civ and meet an unfortunate demise. Maybe. Possibly.
Worker completed a pasture. Now he has to walk clear to the other side of the BFC to make another one.
Looks like everyone has finally finished their first tech. I guess some people were either waiting around to screw with people doing C&D, or were indecisive, or something. As far as the other players go, I'm curious to see how it turns out for Aretas quickly growing to size 3. That's going to be a late worker compared to everyone else. Two other players at size 2 now, I believe it's Dark Savant and Gavagai with their 36 points each. German Joey and Superdeath have 41, which will be size 1 and another tech. And that's about all the lazy score-gazing I'm going to do because none of it really matters, especially since I still haven't met anyone. And all that means is I haven't declared war on anyone yet.
Praise Lord Helix.

Struts had to move a bit since a lion walked up on him this turn. He still has a few more turns to heal since that is the (ever so lightly) expressed will of the public. Bronze Working will be complete in three turns, which means we need votes on what to research next. Evidently only Brick was interested in the most recent poll to praise Lord Helix. All of you who saw the poll and didn't vote for Lord Helix, he knows and will destroy you.

I'm way too spoiled to actually vote even in jest, so I described the poll to my best friend, who has never played civ, does not know how to play civ, and has no interest in learning to play civ or any other 4X game, and voted according to her off-the-cuff opinion.
