If there are barb ships around, it might be a nightmare for other to reach you along the coasts (and arrive with enough health to be a pain, as long as they can't surprise pillage a few fish along the way)...

What are we looking at to get into a GA?
God I love overview shots.
My view is that the culture CS needs to die ASAP. Just checking though: is it worth considering if that city is traded to me?

I am not the first player into the Classical era. I'm not sure how someone got there faster short of simply working more turtles and getting there by a turn or two, or turn order.
I believe that with the -1 amenity at size 3 the Harbour completes at precisely 68/60 start of turn 45 at Adab?
What are the jobs for this builder again? Repair the turtle, chop Shur Campus forest and improve the wheat?
I think I make too much culture and should spend one turn researching FT right? And then after SW dump culture into MT whilst the district costs are reset then plough on through to PP?
The warrior dealt 36 damage, took 31. So do we plan to straight destroy the camp and leave teh warrior potential exposed to a quad, or heal for a few turns? I suppose your long boat might be in position to cover for the single turn this might be a problem?

So regarding FT, if we can delay it a turn, would this mean that hte GP cost updates when FT finishes, rather than using a tech to reset the cost? Ah, no, I don't have enough completed districts do I because of the HS...

Sorry, it's been a weird day.
I do agree with the general gist of the plan, but there are elements where I think we need to consider the trade offs which are uncertain, such as: we can't share pillage rewards if I don't have a unit near the pillaging longboats once the alliance is in etc. But these are tactical considerations, not disagreement over the general strategy.
Dealt 38, recieved 28, the spear should be dead next turn. Here is hoping for, in order: Govenor title, a trader or a builder.
Is it me, or are the islands around the start area littered with 1 tile choke points, but the areas between those outlying islands are far more open for warfare. It's like we are in some sort of inverse hub map.
Could you start the attack T41 if there is an easy path to the south of the island?

Regarding the settler plan: Yes, but with a caveat. I can't build all the settlers, and you now Norway is on a roll to get a stupendous number of cities with captured builders so I think there is a significant opportunity for Norway to also use a Colonization boost at some point. So I'm trying to keep an open mind about how to divy up the lands in the knowledge I can't embark settlers until I can get Shipbuilding
