Stick killed most of my stack, losing a cat and a couple of grenadiers (or a grenadier and a couple of cats) I was hoping he'd have to kill the war chariots, but he had a lot of units.

fortunately, his units are hurt, so he's not coming in after silvery, but it has decent defenses.

Also unfortunately, I don't get all of gunpowder, just most of it, so no musket drafts for me.

he's getting sci method in 5. I don't know why he's going that, instead of steel. he's got an enormous technological advantage, but he's not really turning it into military advantage. A stack of grens and cannons would allow him to take.. everyone. Maybe he wants Communism? Seems overkill to me.

he switched into HR and free religion, which gives him more a tech boost and happy for his religion. A turn of chaos.

kjn didn't do so great vs. celiazul and walked away.... perhaps to gandalf, perhaps to me, perhaps just back home.

I'm planning on killing one of celiazul's cities in a couple of turns, unless thestick comes in after me, of course. I'll 3 or 4 knights, 8 maces, a couple of muskets and 5 cats to kill his horse city. Maybe it will work, maybe not, I dunno. We'll see..

I havn't been updating.

I'll go and grab some pics later - the upshot is that I moved in on one of Celiazul's cities... with impeccable timing, theStick moved in on Silvery with a stack of 20 or so units, about half of which are grens. I'm probably losing Silvery, though he only has 4 cats and he's attacking across a river into a 40% city. Drafting helps - get a musket with a promo. I am unsure what he'll do - reduce defense or attack. if he just attacks, he'll probably kill the city, but he'll lose a lot of units and I'll be able to counter. if he waits, I'll get more defenders and he may not be able to take it as easily.

Honestly, if he'd just gone to cannons, this game would be over by now

I got banking and am starting the slow slog to mil trad. GA runs out soon - I'll miss it

I'll post some stuff at some point - I have mil trad and I think I'm going to burn a couple of cities - one of sticks and one indian. I'm basically just building curaiisers right now. Might be able to take out one of KJN's, dunno.

Stick's not going to like this:

I burned Pelvis without losing a unit - curaissers on Grens and pikes. I won five combats at 25% odds or worse and retreated from 1, and lost no high odds combats.

he's clearly set up for combat elsewhere, too, as he has nothing in tibia (mace, HA and axe)

I'm moving a stack of slow movers in, plus setting up something to threaten celiazul, who's off fighting kjn

yeah, I took the pic before I moved them and didn't take one after... it's something like 6 cats, 6 maces and 6 muskets - I didn't save before I sent, so I can't completely recreate it. I think there's a pike, too.

I'm kind of surprised his culture didn't reset - I guess there's a city 3 S of tibia, probably about where I keep planting Silver (which he's razed multiple times, of course)

I don't have railroad - not even close, to be honest - I'm just finishing education. Now, I got the aqueduct I was building, so no big deal, but I've never seen anything like that before.

btw - stick just finished the kremlin. Celiazul is making railroads. I'm a full age behind.
