It's just a display bug. I'm tired of explaining it so that's all the details you'll get from me.

well, that was fun, except for stupidities like getting cities razed - like my cap
I think I made several major mistakes in this game:
1) My first attack on catwalk, I kept the city with shwedegon paya in it. I should have razed it. There was really no good reason to hold on to that city.
2) Not defending silver adequately, so stick could raze it. really dumb.
3) Not really figuring out how many units I could draft - 2 per turn would have been good, but 1 per made it not really worth it, I think.
4) The big one - not defending my capitol adequately against a 2 mover attack.
5) Pissing away 18 turns of golden age on, basically, pillaging a couple of tiles of sticks. That was really quite useless.
Hannibal of Egypt was probably not a great choice, either, particularly if I wasn't going to, you know, rush someone with war chariots.
Great game to Celiazul, btw - he took a tough position and pulled out a win. It will be interesting to read sticks thread - I really thought he had the game when he pulled way ahead in tech. I was surprised he didn't just build cannons.

I guess we are still going I understand why stick chose to resign - he tried to attack Be, but didn't really end up doing anything, losing more units than he killed. He still has a large force near Be, which I'll try to kill later (i took a brief look at the save, but didn't play it)

Worse, he can see that the defenses are... small. So, guess I have to bolster those. Maybe the raid into stick can hold off, i dunno.

I wasn't sure if you noticed that move. I did it before I got guilds so as not to put you on guard... but I was TOTALLY planning the raid when I built that road.

Nope, still planning the raid. I was pretty scared of your charismatic self during this time. Even when Stick was leading in tech, I was waiting for you to start whipping a borg army... and I was the softest target!
Your thread was great at the beginning... and then it was like, "eh. I think these words go together..." were you already kinda tuned out before I razed Lava?

Honestly, I play to win, but I was feeling bad about razing your Capital from the fog. It just seems so unsporting. (though it did earn you an entry in the "Screwed by Fast Workers" logbook)
But now that I've read your thread and all your references to the threat before it happened... I don't feel so bad!

I agree with you. That's why I like the quote so much: Liberalism doesn't change the game as much as a brand the leader for punishment.
Edit: you responded in the same minute I posted? sheesh... I'm going to check the door locks now.

Hahaha! I definitely was thinking the same thing, but his tech lead made that impossible at the time.

Yes, *this* definitely would have worked.

Because it's a funny name? Or is there a pop reference I'm not getting?
