Well, after receiving the orders from Darrell, the slave this turn didn't go ahead. And no, dear readers, he didn't get lucky either. It seems that Hinduism would rather be founded in the USA rather than India.
Upside is that gems can now be hooked more easily, so meh.
And I'm now probably superfluous to requirements with those sorts of stats and 4 workers running around. And we start the settler for city 4 next turn, finishes t39 with 9 hammers overflow for the granary. And I think we start the settler for city 5 in 2 turns as well? Things are speeding up. The others better do as well. I'm looking at you crop yield of 21.

Additional point, we know from F7 that Buddhism was founded in a size 2 city, and we know from not being completely and utterly blind that StM founded it and revolted last turn.

Strategic point. I want cities on that island, preferably one at the very bottom of the island for cultural coverage and defense of the holy city. On top of that I want a city 1SE of the island gems. Both cities are very high priorities - right beneath Henge and right above HG IMO.
Also, we should only be at 4 hpt from the city centres. The fifth hammer is from the grass forest that the new labourer got assigned to that will get swapped to the new cottage fp next turn. Hammers tiles are just so blasé when you can whip into oblivion.

Worker or Settler in city 2? I know you have it down for a settler, but do we have the worker numbers for both that and blue dot/Henge throw down, or would it be nice to use a worker there to hook up the gems?

Man, grabbing Hinduism is HUGE with the low happy cap. Any thought about grabbing Judaism too for denial purposes? And because as Philosophical Egypt (especially if we get Henge), getting two shrines will be cake.
Given that the numbers are starting to look good pop wise, Hanging Gardens could make them really strong.

OK, looking at the island to the east...I'm not entirely sure that is an island. 8 turns minimum until we could find out though.
OK, so what do we need? 2 warriors and a galley for scouting. More settlers. More workers.
So, hookup the gems, slave out the fifth worker from city 2. use worker 4 to help out then possibly help with stone hookup. Gems should be hooked t40. Should be possible to double slave out 2 settlers (stacking unhappiness) from both cities 2 and 3 (for cities 6, 7, 8 and 9). Workers, well, capital can actually slave out a worker every 4 turns on a 4>2 cycle and keep on stacking the unhappiness (grow to 2-3, 3-4 in 2 turns. Build in t3, slave t4, overflow worker t5 grow t6, t7, slave t8 overflow worker t9...). With a bit of set up time, well, settlers in the capital work out as 3 in 14 turns? So we can do very well there. Just need to keep the cottages coming along.

If religion spreads to another city then I'd seriously consider revolting for the extra happiness. Would be very nice to cover an extra slave (so another worker/city).

Personally, I like going for gems soon. Grass gems are just so strong, and we need commerce to offset the REX'ing, especially since we don't need a monument to grab it.
I think that was a good pop for the shrine city in the long term. We can load that city with cottages and gems, and probably put Wall Street there.

Don't we get a free missionary when we founded the religion which we can send to the stone city instead of slaving the monument? Then we could slave a galley sooner, or another worker, or a granary, instead of a useless monument.

We're going to load every city with cottages though. Apart from the food res I don't see a single tile that shouldn't get cottaged. Also, gems mine isn't that great, 7 commerce, only slightly better than 2 fin riverside cottages, and they improve...still, I'll take it...
