Turn 50 I will wait to post after you so we keep everything in turn order, but for Mill score you have 182 more mil score than Chev, Incurian, TAD and Ljub put together.
I have to admit that I don't know what the counter strategy to this is? Essentially it feels like every team needed to match us exactly in tech paths and civics and just throw down boat after boat. Pick one civ to be the boat builder and another to be the financier and rush each CS out of the game ASAP so no one had a foothold. It feels very much like a ladder game, no holds barred, diplomacy just does not matter.

What is the cost of scouting the capital for TAD? It's right there, and if it has 3 coastal tiles we can attack from, why can't we capture it? I'm not even suer he has a third city right, so capture his capital and
MotM is low health, to the extent that the passing galleys can hit it once for 5XP and get closer to Embolon without actually capturing it so that we keep open the option of capture if we think we can remove TAD and the production malus and then just use the Portuguese holdings to keep Ljub tied down (with the navy stripping him bare like a plague of locusts as it passes him and we approach Gual and England from both directions and see how that pans out.
Shorter version: If we can remove TAD it's a 3v5 and those are good odds for us. Better to win in game than cause people to give up when we aren't pi]sure[/i] of the outcome.

We shouldn't ask people to waste their time if a game is no longer interesting for the sake of it being played 'properly' and should have some system that allows players to drop out. For example their cities and territory can become off limits.
I could probably write a three thousand word essay replying this but, but frankly I don't have the time anymore.
TAD lost interest because he can't win, but his actions still affect the game. I do not agree that players should just be able to leave games for this reason (but respect that RL reasons are a good reason - if the game is affecting a persons mental state then yes they should drop out). It is possible at this stage of the game to also remove emotion from the game - there are only a few specific decisions to make each turn so it takes longer to load the game than play it.
There is a different level between playing competently, which can take very little time and effort, and playing to the calibre which is expected at RB. I believe at RB we, at times, chase perfection. it's not attainable of course, but that is the level in civ 4 games.
The example you give is a really bad concept though for obvious reasons. It's at a level of allowing unit gifting.

Do we even need to break the naval choke points with HK, Mog and MotM if we both have Shipbuilding? Just siege from the other side via land.
I think that this decision needs more info ie scouting to make the right call.

How long will it take to scout TADs capital and choke points? 2 turns max?

Turn 50
Meeting Incurian and farming the wheat push me to 22/25 Era Score. Good timing as there are only 10 turns left in the Ancient era. Where are teh other 3 coming from?
Woo 1 free faith per turn!
Trade route is in place. I take it Writing is researched next turn to immediately place the cheap campus for Shur?
There's not much to say, apart from it turns out long boats are uber? I don't know what TAD could have done, he got pulled out of position and blind sided. They probably should have been more ruthless on building galleys to take out the CS but Mogadishu was just too good to want to keep alive? It feels more and more like a strategic error. MotM could fall next turn as you say and Shodai is gone as well. Does TAD only have his capital remaining or does he have another city somewhere?
That's 13 long boats not counting the two at Mog.
I feel like this might soon be accurate:
This looks more dicey but lets see what happens. An Embolon Bireme actually feels like fair competition!

4 is possibly the best. Keep them paranoid and split their forces. Even against Phoenica three longships will tie up far more than their equal number at worst simply due to the "Fleet in being" concept.
No rush on the turn, I need to go to bed now anyway so can't play until the morning.

Turn 51
Update provided in the anger which is the technical fuck ups with Glastonbury tickets (No I did not get any despite getting to the payment stage and then it kicked me out. given that it took an extra 40 minutes to sell the tickets after they were allocated their payment processing system was fuck wank).
GP up and running.
Can you delete a unit after an attack in civ 6?
This looks like a defensive posture. Probably not going to rush NM. Definitely pushes to sending the BA boats to Inc.

One of teh best games I ever won was an ancient era teamer in civ 4 on a 5v5 team battle grounds map, North versus South. The map generator kindly gave us 1 player surrounded by five of the them and the other founr split into two pairs, with a back to an ally but surrounded on the other to sides.
Even though the surrounded player died he fought well enough to dealy them, and then we got a kill from the pressure on the other side of the map whilst managing the 4v5 defence, before getting a second kill when I sent a miniture HA stack to blindside another player. It took a dozen turns travelling through the FoW but we got the second city elimination.
Ever since then, I've regularly seen players ignore the areas they believe were safe, not using sentry nets, and misallocating units. I think we focus on that, and putting players on tilt like with TAD.
Chev and Inc are focussing on freeing NM. Let them. They have to attack us and our units can heal, theirs can't. Can we two shot all of Chevs galleys? If they are just speed bumps to stop the longships on tiles that they can be counter attacked. Can we focus on destroying the two biremes and then consolidate? Because if we can get Inc to send more and more ships over then we widen the opportunity of hitting from the east, unseen.
I think they might try to blockade though. The front galley is bait for the culture IMO.
TAD just looks like he is on tilt. What's he got, 5 galleys total at the start of the turn, 6?

I just checked the gold figures and I think Ljub spent 100+ gold last turn (after clearing the barb camp he was working on previously) but other than that Ljub, Chev, Inc and TAD are essentially broke scraping their way to conscription...or in conscription and completely screwed. We look to be absolutely flush making 31gpt between us.
Habours FTW.
