In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."-Old Harry. PB48.
For defensive wars especially with drafting rifles its nice to be 1st to use those troops sooner. And if you are being 2v1 or 3v1 and know you need to whip like mad anyways, it isn't like you are getting an advantage there.
Also, as I stated in Naufs thread it was PROBABLY an innocent mistake. I don't understand the anger at the ruling, but in general a little more empathy is due. There have been some direct accusations of acting in bad faith in his thread and there is no call or proof of that so you shouldn't be making them.

I just always whip like mad in wars anyway, so 2v1/3v1 scenario doesnt come up often for me. ( pb66 )

![]() One of the strangest and most out-of-nowhere rule blowups + ragequits I've seen. I can think of a few that were at least understandable because sometimes games slip into nobody-wins situations, but this one is baffling.
Well that escalated quickly. I think I would have agreed, though I would have offered to allow them to negotiate re who has which half (I don't think it would be such a big deal for Pin if he had to go second half).
Sad that a few games seem to have a sour taste in the mouth lately.
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.
I laughed at this, btw:
