Emperor K What the hell, why not, I enjoy these games. I usually head to bed about midnight to 1 EST. Emperor K, do you want a dedlurker? Yes that would be great! EDIT: Well my quote did not work.
Random checked map is fine for me, my only question is what script people want to play on. I'm easy.
You should do preference lists, everyone submits a list of the 5 civs they most want to play in order, and then it's adjudicated. For example for a 3 player game:
Krill: America, Aztec, England Pindicator: America, England, Kongo Ichabod: England, Russia, Macedonia 1) Look at everyone's first pick first: a) Ichabod is the only one to pick England first, so he gets England b) Krill & Pindicator both picked America, Judge rolls a dice to see who wins; in this case Krill wins the dice roll and gets America 2) If people still don't have a civ, move down to the 2nd choices: a) Pindicator is the only one left. England has already been picked, so he gets Kongo.

So each of us submit to Woden our top 5 picks (since there are 5 people in the game). I shall have to discuss that a bit. I do like the idea, something different.
Yep, Top 5 for a 5 player game.
I've done these before too, so if you/Woden wanted me to I would be happy to resolve it. Just send PMs my way with your picks and I'll post the results.
Everyone wants America? Man the meta changes fast.
On a more serious note, if anyone would like a dedlurker I would be happy to help in that role. Global lurking is so much work
