Okay, it seems diagonal and freshwater forts both work, just tested. Fantastic.

Mardoc Wrote:Microing is your solution to boredom? Not the cause? lol I know you'd think that based on my other threads I play for war :hwar1: But really... well I do enjoy the wars. Still, I enjoying making things as efficient as possible. I love finding that by switching 1 tile at 19 that I can get pop 1 turn earlier. Gives me a good buzz.Turn played I'll put up pics in a moment.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
Turn was pretty quick. Moved scout and moved worker on to deer, started warrior.
New land: ![]() Yay for pigs and sheep. Those pigs look like they're across the ocean though. Sheep will be goo for that City SE of Clammy Cap.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
2nd turn today! Can we get 3?
Moved scout and found: ![]() Definitely snow on that south side. On the plus side, more clams! That also very heartening. I'm assuming that if I settle the Banana and sheep area I can cordon that pocket of land south of the dye sweeping along the coast to my capital. Worker starts camp, BW in next turn.

3rd turn today! As I go to sleep! Really great speed on the weekends.
Scout moved: ![]() Wow lonely corn down there. Tundra on the horizon. Started Fishing. Goodnight Moon.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
Turn was fast. Scout found ice and more ice. Oh, and a ice hill. Warrior finished EOT. Will finally be able to scout west next turn, well at least move a warrior in that direction.
I'm also feeling good about not being found by anyone for a while. I expect that if some one finds me they will be scouting from the west-east. Or they will end up across the lake from me on the east. As a result I feel pretty safe against a choke and next turn I start a worker and then a WB. With only one warrior around my cap.

Yeah, in a few turns you'll have units out in the west of your capital, so if you find anyone there the unit'll be a number of turns out.

Was out at Hot Springs yesterday back today. And so a 2 turn update, but very little to report.
Scout moved along the ice, warrior is close to leaving the capital culture. ![]() Silly deer...
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
Turn in.
Exploring finds: ![]() NICE! More sheep, crabs. Looking good, but here's the thing. If I settle the city on the plainshill SE of the fur I need a border pop to grab the deer and the sheep. Don't know for sure what I'll do here. I'm researching agr now. I have only rice in the NW to farm, but I will eventually need agr and it will help me tech AH faster. Plus I can get it done in 5 turns now instead of 6 with the overflow! That will help immensely. And once the WB is done I'll have more commerce from working the water which should help both agr and AH. BTW I don't think I mentioned this before but I DID find copper: ![]() Good Lord. That is far away... There had better be closer copper or I will be stretched thin trying to get it. I don't like the look of it... Maybe horses will be closer.
