Krill, you still watching this one? EMC's massive EIGHT SETTLER center island land grab warming the dark cockles of your soul?
Holy crap, that's game unless Noble isn't.

I don't get it, how can they expect to possibly hold all of that? Seems like it would be fairly simple for Noble or someone to just build a galley & start razing center island cities. Are they really putting so much faith in Noble upholding an NAP he may or may not feel has been broken?

SevenSpirits Wrote:So Ellimoogle Carpathia gain vision on the barb city but still haven't noticed the mysterious combination of 60% culture defense and no visible culture buildings. How long from when they gain vision of the water tile with the GLH until they fort their way into the inner lake and capture it?
Well, apparently GLH only shows up on coast tiles, so won't show if the city is surrounded only be land/lake. Maybe it won't occur to EMC to check this in world builder? (Or, maybe I'm wrong and there's no GLH there, but that just seems really implausible.)

Well this is finally starting to go somewhere interesting. It feels like everyone has been dodging war but this might finally be the event to provoke something. I'm curious what will happen when these NAPs start ending, given that EMC's neighbors are not pleased with this development.

Ellimist is using a strange definition of the word "straightforward". It's crazy to me that he's trying to pass off his behavior like that when he was so clearly ONLY sticking to the letter of his agreements.
I have no sympathy for the others though. They should not have signed those agreements like that. I mean seriously, wtf.

So, if I undersand Elllimist's last post right, NobleHelium & Lewwyn get three city sites reserved on the center island (perhaps are gifted settlers?).
Maybe its just me, but I think the 2v1 attack to throw Ellimoogle back was a much better idea (and would have been a lot more fun to watch ) Now NobleHelium is going to alienate Kuro - for what that's worth. They're also effectively giving Ellimoogle the inside track for claiming the barb city and The Great Lighthouse. Do any of the teams even realize it's there yet?

Yes, the GLH is in the centre barb island, and yes it is actually boatable with a few forts. In hindsight I should have put 4 CG3 D4 LB in there.
Anyone know what has actually happened in this game?

I think it was starting to get interesting just now, actually. But then EMC made an ill-advised deal, it seems, so maybe the interesting part is over already.
I have to run.

I read about another war that featured HAs vs. longbows. It didn't end so well for the Horse Archers.

Yeah it's akin to banging your head against a wall to try to knock it down. He'll need a lot of numbers and a lot of luck.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.
