A few questions, if you don't mind.
-Looking at your dotmap, I see that blue dot is planned on a plains hill, which nabs it an extra hammer but causes it to lose the whales. Do you think the trade-off worthwhile?
-Why do you think that your starting landmass lacks commerce potential? True, it lacks gems and the fertile grasslands of Yellow dot, but surely it has enough food resources to allow you to spam cottages and work them?
-What are your demographics like, and how do they compare with other players? More importantly, how do you think your leader/civ combo and your skill as a player matches up with other players? (My apologies if you answered this already and I missed it)

Thanks for the questions, I shall do my best to answer them.
1) I think the plains hill is a nice starting tile and with one whale resource already within the dotmap it is not essential. Short-term the trade-off possibly would be worth it as all infrastructure will be built slightly quicker. Long-term I'm not so sure. We're a little while off settling it so I'm sure this will provoke further discussion when we do.
2) I'm just not a huge fan of plains cottages but I see your point.
3) Without them in front of me I can't be 100%, but I think our demogs aren't that bad. I like our leader/civ combo considering most of the alternatives, but it is dependent on some warfare. In terms of the other players, I've not played with most of them so I don't know their skills yet. I prefer to play the situation not the player.
Hope that helps!

Alright, thanks. Do you have any plans on what you intend to do with Hinduism?

Nice!
Exploring workboat for Eridu after worker? Copper would be nice.
Hmm, Qin is the one who got Buddhism. China does't start with Mysticism, so I'm afraid we have an Industrious competitor for the Oracle.

Exploring workboat is fine by me.
We may have an industrious rival for the Oracle but I have 3 pre-chops lined up to go straight into it if it isn't taken before then. Sounds good?

We got it!!!!!!
Even better, Hinduism spread to the capital for free!
Here is an overview picture of our three cities:
Finishing hunting to hook up the ivory and then onto sailing.
Will get a forge up asap at Eridu so we can get Colossus built as fast as we can. In fact, I'd be best whipping forges out in all 3 places so we can take advantage of a production boost sooner.
