Question actually, so Loki can capture or raze any city that does not have culture? How is he dealt with in multiplayer games?
I assume he can enter borders with no open borders or war declarations? The AI just ignore him?

Yes.

Declare war on the player who owns him if you see him approaching. He can't enter hostile cities, although you'll still need defenses since his puppets can capture them in the same way as any other military unit. To kill him you have to either attack him while he's in a city or surround him with units and/or impassible terrain so that he can't retreat. The AI generally isn't intelligent enough to do this.

Yes, Loki can enter borders regardless of the diplomatic relations between civs. The AI won't declare to keep him out, but you rack up large diplomatic penalties each time you steal one of their cities, so doing it constantly is a good way to end up at war with everyone.

Ok, I'm officially declaring an interest in the next PBEM as long as my lack of knowledge of the mod doesn't skew/ruin the game for the veterans.
If a new PBEM was to played, which mod exactly is it likely to be played on? (I understand there are lots of versions?). And if that is a modmod, is there a changelog for it?
Basically, I'm after a compendium of the relevant info as the game seems pretty different and I'll need to refer to it a lot should I play.

Probably EitB v12: Changelog here. Which is a modmod from Fall from Heaven II - I typically recommend people look at the Manual for general information on the base mod.

Brick replaced the image in the original post with his own and then took a screenshot, and posted the screenshot. It's some sort of joke but I certainly don't get it.

Nice set Dreylin! I never thought of pillaging the city.
Whilst MNAI plays better, its expansion is still pretty crap. Oh and Mahala was at war with someone in my set.

Oh, and a good guide can be seen in reading some of the early game threads, especially all the PBEM1 threads, Illios PBEM2 thread, or Kyan or Gaspar/NobleHelium's PBEM 7 threads.

I did not change anything, that's what I see in the post.
EDIT: now it shows an FFH picture. I've seen that issue with image hosters before, sometimes a different image shows up than the one that is supposed to.

Played till T146 accidently.
Anyway, finished Exploration to Carto. Switched to CS + Agrarianism. The state of our economy has now change from terrible to bad! Also our opponents have some very good units, Kithra was born and Dwarfs have Iron weapons.... meanwhile we don't even have BW. Hippus settled another city near the fort but I didn't raze it, I was afraid they'd delcare on us. We now have road connection between our cities, the OB with Clan gives all our cities additional 2c.
Also, I'm putting our only Reliquary to use:
I'm not quite sure how to use it. Considering the state of our economy even settling him would help a lot. I don't think GA at this point would do much of anything. We need commerce badly. Bulbing is an option (takes Mysticism) but I think I'm leaning toward settling that guy.
I think our Loki should go take that barb city with Corn/Wines soon (now at size 6!). I don't think there are any other cities nearby to steal. Another thing to consider is to steal cities from current wars. After an AI captures a city it's revolting for a while, and this is when Loki can sneak in and make it our city. As sad as it is, currently Entertaining is one of the most useful spell for us. Getting Clan's city in our hands would be very useful.
Also a worrying thing is that FoL has been spread a lot. It spread to one of our cities, but I didn't want to waste a 1 turn of anarchy to revolt. Could potentially give us boost to relations with FoL leaders.
What's next tech? I think Mysticism for ECs would be nice idea to speed our research rate. Festivals is another option but I do like ECs more. Another tech that we would really need is BW but it's 15 tech at 100% science (-15 gpt/t) .
