TT, apparently, doesn't want to make a deal - I didn't even get a counter-offer. That's a pain in the ass. I guess I get to research education myself then.

5 turns to education now, then gunpowder. I'm building up a force of catapults. TT switched to Free Market, so he's up economics, too. I think CF may have it too - he has another GM sitting around.
I dunno that I see TT as being an ally anymore. And I have to see what's going on with CF - need more scouting.

Dogpile on cornflakes!!
TT/Bigger declared war.
Everyone, of course, is trying to get me involved (or not)
CF first offer:
Stupid event:
Question: can I take, ethically, accept both offers to go to war? I would obviously have to reoffer them. Not that I am in any position to do more than declare war - I have no units that can actually attack him.

I believe you can take both.

well, I guess I'll reoffer those and accept them and declare next turn. I'm completely unable to effectively attack CF, mind you, so expect nothing there. I will try to launch an attack at Blimp at some point.

Bigger offered me a straightup tech deal of education and gunpowder for constitution and optics, so I took that.
Then I offered this to CF:
I suspect he'll do it. I'm currently looking at banking->rep parts->rifling, though I might go steel instead.

So, CF offered banking for iron (I guess he lost a city in Azza's former lands).
After some thinking, I decided to take the offer. It obligates me to keep the peace for 10 turns (I'm not sure that the game enforces that, but I decided to stick with it anyway).
I'm trying to figure out if I should go chemistry or rep parts - chemistry is more useful, so I think I'll go there.

well, that may have been a poor choice, taking that offer. TT is rolling up CF's cities - cornflakes might not last 10 turns.

TT/Bigger is really rolling up CF - he took what looks like to be another 4 cities. I'm now giving CF iron and horses, cause he has neither and only knights can really handle TT's musketeers.
A state of the civ post comes next - I'm building lots of infra, mainly.

Why you want Cornflakes to be able to build Knights?
More people have been to Berlin than I have.
