Yeah, at some point, just need my damned internet to work and for the mod to get finished.

Have not touched CIV in one year, but after the Civ 5 debacle (luckily I only went for the demo) I would be interested to play again a game of CIV. Detached myself successfully from LoL lately. Bloody time sink that was! lol

I will be able to play one turn / day most of the times, but I will also be away on buisness trips now and then. (have to see whether I can install CIV on my work laptop).

I am on mid-European time for the planning.

I would be interested in being a dedicated lurker, maybe playing a turn or two every now and then.

@Dazed: Best of luck with the baby. I went through this not so long ago and it's a rough ride at times, but it gets better in time.

OK, here are the players:

I see 2 options: use the mod, or do a vanilla game, however the 1.2 version of the mod has broken corps in it so isn't really an option. I have made an edited version of the mod that strips corps out though which can be used.

So, what would people like, a mod, or no mod game?

don't mind as well, though I guess mod would be fun just for the more balanced leader-traits and therefore finally different leaders

They are not literally broken. The only functionality problem is that the free exec can spread its corp even if you don't know Corporation tech. I can fix it but might not get to it for a few days. Not a big problem to just play with it that way.

If you mean broken as in unbalanced - is that something you get to decide by fiat? Or is that something that the players of the game should discuss and choose by consensus?
