I could be your 2nd choice map maker/checker, if there aren't anyone else intrested.
Couple of questions for you to consider:
* Roughly symmetrical (not mirrored!) or more natural?
* Positioning of strategic resources: Balanced or there can be variations in availability?
* Anything else? Krill has mentioned no Continents

I may regret it later, but if I regret it too much, I guess it's proof that the tweaks weren't enough.

Plako as a map maker works for me too. I don't think any of us are particularly picky... Just something reasonably balanced where no one gets screwed or gets handed the game on a silver platter. Also, I'd like you to give me 3 grassland gems instead of the measly 2 you gave me in PBEM14.
