From the world of sports where statistics are sifted to find the smallest possible milestones:
"Lewwyn will most certainly set a record for most dyes in a single city!"

All those dyes are also right next to TWO grassland gems. That's just evil.
Also Lewwyn started with wet corn and two pigs?! No wonder he blasted ahead of everyone from the start.
Anyway, that geography really makes it look more likely that we see Azza vs Lewwyn sequel, which is pretty good news for us. If anyone else was our northern neighbor, I'd say we hit the jackpot geographically here.

Turn 061
Pretty sure I've found where Commodore put his 3rd city.
Unfortunately that puts him in range of going for the gold next. If we can get the gold north of Nakor then I'm not sure I'm too upset if he gets that gold to the west. All we need to do is get the horses, and they're close enough to our capital to be doable.
Our settler has moved to the safest location I could think of. I've got the axe fortifying in place.
The city that whipped the settler last turn is using overflow + a chop to 2-turn a granary
And worker #5 is started in the capital.
Yes, that's our first cottage. Built on turn 61. Go us!

Turn 062
Scooter, looks like both our colleges escaped with a victory yesterday. At least we aren't Wisconsin fans...
When I opened the game there was a map trade proposal from Azza.
Lewwyn is a little more cramped than we first thought, which is going to lead to fireworks sooner than later, perhaps. Or Lewwyn is going to invest in Iron Working and settle those dyes. Either way, his southern city is another reason why Azza's second city was a bad plant.
I then offered Lewwyn another map trade.
Barbarians have finally shown
I whipped the axe in Orioles to protect our wheat next turn. This actually may be an improvement over what I had planned - we'll end up getting 1 more food in exchange for losing 3 beakers for whipping off the lake. (We get the extra food due to granary mechanics.)
Settler is in position to move and Noble has asked to defer for the next city. So who's next up?

Hey I did not ask to defer for the next city. I said I would trade positions with Boldly, so he gets to pick and I can pick when it would be his turn.

LOL at that Azza/Lewwyn border. Yes that's going to be war.
I honestly don't understand what took the barb warriors so long. I was under the impression they start showing up when the average number of cities is 1.5 or 2 or something, but we're clearly well above that. No clue.
