Bunbunmaru News Reports In! (Kuro Spoiler Thread)

A few thoughts:

Egypt so close to us is bad news.
Right where the Scout is would make an excellent city: Forested Plains Hill Deer/Corn/Sheep, 3 Flood Plains, on a defensive hill AND enemy units that get defensive bonuses can't turtle on the hill next to it without going on flatland or a long way around AND the river is behind us so no counterattacking penalty.
Can we afford to plant it with Bronze second if it has no Bronze?

Pretty nice land to the west. I'd probably go NE-N next. If the tile north of the peak is flat it allows NW-NE next. You probably know, but animals start appearing at the end of turn 5 so the scout doesn't need to worry about defensive terrain until then.

Oh, I missed that we met Wetbandit there! Wow that's very very close, and rather unfortunate that he's Egypt. And we know he's not afraid to look for horses and run someone over in the early game. Obviously the first priority now is to find copper.

Good thing we have early BW to find it!

But then your muscles will atrophy and you won't be able to play either.

Eqypt is so close! What if they build a warrior first, would we even have time to react? And what is the research plan (I may have missed it, but I assume hunting and maybe animal husbandry to locate horses)?

Bronze Working -> The Wheel -> Pottery, we can build an emergency Warrior via chops before one could reach us I believe thanks to our super speedy Worker.
