Big turn, met wetbandit.
He is Tokugawa (AGR/PRO) of India, he has both of the OP traits, he is doing pretty well but I expected better from this trait combo.
Offered Open Borders:
Hopefully the Galley will convince him to accept.
I looked around and decided that one of my next cities will be here:
wetbandit will probably see this as an aggressive settlement, and I certainly won't fault him for it. However several reasons convince me that this is the right move from me. This will be extremely defensible, both on a hill and defensive river bend. A few archers can take out a lot of units. I really don't want him to get control of this area. It is important to me I have total control of this bay.

Settled another city, RIPinPepperonis, to honor the site where our scout died.
This would be my 8th city and it's a terrible one. I settled this just for the horses, I think barb axes could start to show up soon and I don't want to get caught flat footed. However after I build a monument, a granary and a lighthouse, this city would have 2 lighthoused lakes and a farm or two for food. This city would be productive after I build a couple of cottages and it will grab the silk too.
Wetbandit accepted OB a few turns ago, but for some reason I only get 1 trade route and the trade connection icon doesn't show up. I don't know why that is. I have defogged a route to one of his cities and I got Sailing obviously. Did he not connected his cities or is it something else?
The demos:
I am pretty the top crop yield is wetbandit, which is quite insane considering I have 2 more cities than him and we have about same number of pop. This probably means that multiple cities of his have multiple food resources and/or flood plains.
On the other hand, the Oracle still have not fallen. I think I'm going to regret not going for it now.

Found DQ's borders.
Nice land, I really want a city here but I probably won't get it before DQ takes it. There's a lot of nice land around me and I want settle them all but I just couldn't build enough settlers/workers/troops as fast as I want to.

The password is rome. Whip the worker at kappa take the archers in the galley and land it at the spot marked city? Take the settler and worker there. Build a library at the capital. Thanks for whoever takes over.

Border should pop at wtf2shens soon so probably should send 2 workers to hook the silver. When border pop at raiseyourdonger send the worker to improve the pig. Give the fish back to the capital to grow and work scientists if run out of improved tiles at raiseyourdonger.
Civstats seemed to show that Parkin built the oracle. Anyways I should get my power back tomorrow night. For those wondering I'm using laggy public wifi on my phone to send this.
Thanks again Krill!

Um, I don't know how to say this, but you lost a battle against a barb axe and so you just lost your horse city.
I shit you not, but the barb axe didn't lose a single round.

The fucked up thing was the city was named RIPinPepperonis.

So I learned something new today about this game: apparently if a city is razed by barbs, it will leave behind a road on the city ruins tile. This is terrifying, 2 move axes on the loose.
On the other hand, wetbandit decided to cancel open borders and will probably declare war next turn. He's sending an axe at me and he's helped by a barb axe of course.
Here's the city Rotations:

I got graphs on wetbandit, the color is a little hard to see though.
GNP:
Production:
Food:
Power:
So wetbandit is doing pretty well no small thanks to all the food resources he has, he's Agricultural too remember:
In other news, DQ revolted to Hereditary rule and Organized Religion...without a religion. I think he might aim to bulb Theocracy soon. He's not doing particularly well if the demos is any indication. I also met slowcheetah recently, he is to my west.
Anyone want to see anything I'm not showing or have any questions?

Settled a city:
Hey wait a minute this picture seemed familiar. Well, since I lost power for 5 days due to a hurricane this happened:
Scientist builds academy or Merchant bulb Currency.
A quick trait comparison:
If I was Financial: 4 commerce per turn
Agricultural gives me: 7 food per turn
If I was Organized: 8 gold per turn
Organized seemed to compare favourably so far to Financial in the mod.
