[Spoilers] Pindicator accepts his fate

For building good will yes. For gaining deeper knowledge of his land for an attack also yes.

Turn 085

I didn't check events last turn, and so there were quite a few to see this turn:

That's OT4E predictably getting Colossus -- sure is nice to be the only IND in the game! lol -- and that's our neighbor to the south, StarDoor, who grabbed Great Lighthouse.

Now I'm wondering if I've been thinking about this all wrong and it shouldn't be Nyles we invade but instead StarDoor. His power is abysmally low right now. Also:

I could see us being able to attack and cut his territory in half. Problem with that is all our units are up around the Nyles border, so we would have to make more units as well. But man, if we could do that then we'd have access to a lot more gems tiles...

I forgot to offer StarDoor the map trade. Next turn.

Also, Nyles is finally sending a settler north to grab that sweet sweet land:

If he had waited any longer I might have started planning ways of boating my own settlers around there to cut him off.

Sailing finishes end of turn. With Great Lighthouse off the table I don't think there's a debate for going to for Masonry any longer.

What you can debate is going for HBR and attacking StarDoor with swords and horses. But I think maybe I should still do Writing first

As a lurker, I think your best options are:

So as much as I need the lurkers to love me, I think this is really making the decision easy for me:

HBR is probably closer to 10 turns, since these were taken at 40% science and breakeven is somewhere around 37%. (Commerce is starting to take off!) So I think a 4 turn diversion for libraries is perfect.

Also, this makes me want to get another wave of settlers together.

In any case, I'm going to try and plan out the next 5-10 turns before I finish playing this one. Mostly because I need to know what my workers need to focus on; that's the only way I can manage to get by with having so few.
