Hi, the setup of the game went fine & fast because of to the complete list of settings in the spreadsheet and Q's summary in the PM. Thanks!
I've just one last question: Do you're starting with simultaneous turns and switching later to sequential?

I'm fine either way, but a heads up: I'm working this weekend so I would like a bit of extra time for t0 please. (Normally not an issue, but I need tobre-run a Sim or two and can't while at work)

We'd said first sixty simultaneously, then sequencing after.

I'm sorry but I will not play this map. I do not believe this is what was requested and I do not want to waste anyone elses time beyond this point, so either we use a new map (realistically on another map script and with more tightly defined instructions regarding capitals, or there is a sub for my start.

Krill, can you give a list of scripts that are acceptible? I really don't care if we play on Tilted Axis or Oasis, so I will just defer to your preference here.

Probably any of the following work (as stated in the mod discussion thread):
- Fractal
- Highlands
- Global Highlands
- Lakes
- Terra
- Tilted Axis
- Big and Small
- Hemispheres
I love the idea of Tectonics, and Totestra is the dream to make playable, but this map script specifically generates large areas of wasteland with no food resources and no 2 food tiles. One or the other is managable by the mod, but after seeing how my BFC was considered acceptable I have no hope for this map.
Q, thank you for youur efforts but I agree that it would be better for you to not be involved in the map making process.

FYI I had nothing to do with the start balance, but Tarkeel did heavy input.
If people ask for a balanced map that is one thing where they might be disappointed if it isn't that.
If people want random, keep it close to random seems to be the general mood. I've argued before for 90% maps, but I keep being shot down because there is a subset of people who like random.
