[SPOILERS] Charriu, chumchu, and Magic Science in Pitboss 45

I am not sure what GeneralKilCavalry and boak are trying to achieve with their fleet of triremes. Their actions do not fit into any well-executed plan I can think of, even a plan with a bad goal. If these triremes are on a mission to bleed away my hammers by pillaging seafood, blockading coastal tiles, and forcing the construction of Babylonian triremes in response, like the ones at the start of this long war were, then they should have tried to maneuver around my slower fleet to reach my backlines by now. If these triremes are on a mission to hold back my ships so I cannot settle the island spots between Mr. Cairo and GeneralBoaKil and/or attack Baal and Nostramo again, they should be further back. Where they are, my ships could circumvent them by sailing through Florence. Also, none of those potential plans explain why Tyre’s coastal fish, abandoned to the mercy of the enemy since they broke through the chokepoint east of Florence with their lucky attack ten turns ago, has not been pillaged. If the triremes are part of plan to capture and keep Tyre, that would explain why the coastal fish has not been pillaged, though it should at least have been blockaded, but it would be an error to be at war, prompting me to build more units than I would have otherwise, long in advance of the real attack. In conclusion, ?!? "Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow.
In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."-Old Harry. PB48.
Hey, any word from the babylon player?

I was afraid of your triremes moving into our territory if we committed them deeper. Plus, we had privateers and caravels on the way.
I took this invasion business very methodically, too much so.
