Scout movement was eventful:

We need to really look at this site. God I'd love to plant on that PH.

After ending turn I set the tech back to pottery and the tile to the sheep. I also placed a note as a reminder for anyone who plays the turn to set it back before ending the turn next time.

That plains hill site is crap, low food. The stone itself though...Moai special, that is.

Also, we should delay finishing AH to the last possible turn, swap research over to either Mining or Pottery and research that to continue screwing with the other teams C&D.

Scout moves for next turn, 77, 12 and 69 are all reasonable.

Definitely like settling on the stone as an early Moai - even more if there's food off the coast.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Considering the location of their scout on t7, I'm guessing we'll see the borders of their capital next turn. The stone plant will likely be a massive pink dot.

Eh, I'd guess the stone is intentionally located roughly equidistant between capitals. Either way were not settling it super soon.

On t4, their scout was probably on the PH we're at now. It would take us 4t to get there from the capital, so if the stone is equi-distant (I agree with that assumption), I'm guessing their capital will be west and a little bit south.

Or possibly north?

I'd go 77 with the scout next.

The stone is likely to be between us. I wonder if marble is located in a similar place somewhere.

edit - and Lewwyn - I have finally remembered where your avatar comes from! I knew I'd seen it in the past somewhere!

It's Kivan from Baldur's Gate... I had the same 'Eureka' moment a couple of weeks ago. He was one of my favourite party members from that game smile
