I don't think it actually matters what they do, but I worked out some MM for that start that gave them a settler, size 4, 2 workers and 2 warriors by T34. Without optimization. Realistically could get a hell of a lot more than that.
Why are you rating Lewger's as so good, because of all the forests to chop? If I could have picked a start here, I would have gone with Yurikoti's, but I think I've always undervalued chopping. I'm too much the environmentalist at heart.

Because they have three 6 yield tiles, two 5/1 and one 6/0, in addition to a plains hill. One top of that, they are all improved by workers, so no time spent building work boats. Most of the starts in this game are actually a mix of seafood and land based food. The other great start is the Incan start, but there are really close to Retep.
They are also not that enclosed by neighbours, even if azza is fairly close.

Anyone think Commodore's Mobius plan is going to work out?

If Pindooter doesn't build another warrior next, and Commodore plays after them on the turn he moves into their vision, then yes, he wins. Else, with 4 population, they'll be able to scrounge up enough hammers for an emergency second warrior with just 2 turns to prepare.

I almost hope it works this way, for the sake of everyone involved...

So you're telling me our south neighbors are the two teams that swore revenge on us? All we need now is Commodore as another nearby neighbor to complete the PB8 trifecta of grudge teams, and we might as well ragequit.

Looks like Commodore's warrior is about to get spotted.
Scooticator's obvious path to the hut runs through the forest adjacent to Commodore's warrior.

Am I right in thinking that Commodore actually has to back of a tile, and play the turn that Pindicooter pops the hut after them, and move onto the tile he is currently on? I mean, that would allow him to reach the capital before that warrior, but they are only going to 1 pop slave out 2 warriors so it's not like any of this really matters.
