Thanks - good to know. There is dungon in his territory unpopped. If spider survives here, I'll probably send it there to pop it . So that Beast is spiders body guard now.

I haven't seen scouts or Hawks in this neighborhood so I thought trying to pop the lair is worth the risk.

No, it's a generic FfH thing. Hawks can see some invisible stuff (treasure chests, Hidden units), but only Recon units can see spiders.

Ilios has strted attack and razed a city and HidingKneel retreated from the city closest to him so I decided to raze it. I could have tried to keep it, but decided not to this time.

Saverous is now ready and Hemah 15 exp points away from twincast. I also try to settle near Sun mana that would enable building tower of Divination. Most likely I'll go for enabling Arch Mages.

Very far away near Lanun border. I reopened the latest save to get this. Most probable spot is 1S from Remanants of Patria. Not really defensible and I can also trade or fight for another source so I should eventually get one.

So it seems this game will be progressing very slowly during the vacation of Ilios. I didn't take screenshots from previous turn so here are couple of points from memory (I played the turn few days ago):
* Most importantly I've lost sight of Ilios mega stack. It is probably in deep south in his territory or more likely SW from it near Mercurians/Kurio
* Skeleton opened dungeon and found angry Lizards - I could have fled, but in the name of sparing money I dispanded skeleton
* Bob has a scout running through my lands. I let him do the scouting even if he definately has the power to cause he headaches and my defenses near his border are nothing special. I also have Spider opening the dungeon on his land

I've been also kept thinking what to do here since I clearly do not have any path to win this at the moment. Balseraphs has couple of nice features to try culture win and this land could support pretty good amount of Artists and I could build Lyre to further support it. However the grazy mobility of FFH units makes defending a big nightmare and I'm not sure I could really keep myself secured in an attempt like that. However that is probably my best shot so I might take the effort and see how long it would realistically take to get to 3 legendary cities.

Couple of turns have passed so here are again a little facts what is going on.

Attempting culture requires just too much planning work so I'll just continue my mindless drifting and hoping that the win lands on my arms while waiting .

I was able to apot Ilios stack again east from Mercurian lands so that is good information to know. Mercurians power has been rapidly raising, but they're down to 3 cities now. I guess my best bet is to try to build up an army around Hemah that could really hit someone. Might be Kurios/Mercurians unless Ilios can really weaken them or Infernals since before any bigger campaign against others I need to get rid of them.

Spider popped the dungeon on Infernals land and got poisoned. I wonder if Bob spots what happened or has been following my spider . After this the spider continued towards Kurio land. I'm hoping HidingKneel doesn't have any scouts there so I might be able to do some havoc there.

I'm also founding soon the Sun mana city and capture a pretty far away barb city in the north. I'll keep only token defenders on both of these cities since I can't afford to keep them properly defended.
