I'd do it if Sandover wanted to as well. Reading afterwards would be hilarious, and I'm sure the lurkers would enjoy it
Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis |

Just want to say I am +100% for this!
It would be epic. ![]() Can I suggest trying to keep it 'hidden' from the other players/civs for as long as possible also? Use the same email address for passing the save and correspondence. Have a rule that whoever opens an email first has to reply to it, and once opened, no-one else may read it. Yes, that may result in a few 'lost' emails, but that's because you're insane! ![]() (Edit: Sorry just saw Serdoa said exactly the same thing above) Keep separate spoiler threads, but don't name them. Just call them 'Miscellaneous spoiler thread #1 - No players allowed!' etc. (If you want I'll happily create them both). The gradual dawning of comprehension as the other civs slowly realised what was happening would be fantastic. So in short, +1 here!
Well, I would certainly enjoy it! No better way to simulate a schizophreniac!
I wonder how long it would take the other teams to catch on? ![]() Maybe also randomize who's the turnplayer? So if Krill promises an alliance, he can move units, declare war, etc? But only some of the time - if Serdoa catches on, he can help prosecute the war, but if not, well, it might take a while to get a useful contribution out.
Another big vote for the three headed monster. It will hurt your chances of winning, but I could see it being lots of fun.
pocketbeetle Wrote:Keep separate spoiler threads, but don't name them. The only issue with that is if someone sees Krill, Sandover or Serdoa post in a thread that says "No Players Allowed" there could be calls of cheating or atleast poor faith.
Globally Lurking:
Unspoilt in all (at the moment) Playing: Finished: PBEM 11: Hammurabi of England (Probably Last) Pitboss 4: Wang Kon of Arabia (Finished 7th out of 8)
I'll just say I'm not a dedicated lurker any more.
I don;t know about Sandover though, what he has posted, read and whatnot.
A different idea how to sever the synapses between your three personalities: each of you adds the other two to the ignore list or (a less drastic solution) two of you create a dummy RB account only for posting in this thread, of course also banned by the other two.
You're all nuts.
![]() The idea is kind of tempting but I'm definitly out also since I read other threads before setting foot in this one.
Ok, so now that means I HAVE to do some kind of introductory post for the Balseraph civ. I have already started yesterday with taking screenies in the game for the unique units and builings they have but didn't come around of actually putting a post together.
I probably should also come up with a game plan but I simply have none. I guess I'll go for Festivals first and then... no clue. Does Festivals first even make sense? Probably depends on resources nearby (like 2 Gold, 2 irrigated Corn might lead to a different research path and the chance for such a start is surely high, isn't it? )Ok, so, somebody has any meaningful stuff to say? Like what victory to pursue? Or a naming scheme for our troops? Like giving them as name a negative adjective? |
