Somebody take Perpentach of the Kurio's for a spin! I really want to see somebody play that game.
For those not in the know, Perpentach eliminates the Civilization traits of the Civ he is in when he has his first insane trait shift. Grigori lose agnostic, Sheaim lose Sundered, Hippus lose Horselords, etc. For most civs, this is a minor thing, and generally a bad minor thing. Even for something a little more significant like a non-agnostic Grigori, the lack of ability to build temples stops major divergence. But for the Kuriotates, losing their civ trait makes them into a very very different civilization.
The Kurio civ trait is Sprawling, which gives a limited number of mega cities. Without that trait, they can build cities all around the map just like a regular civ. But the cities will be regular two radius ones. The other Kurio advantages though, like Enclaves and Centaurs, all work. And most importantly Jewellers and Tailors can be spread across an entire civilization for a potentially massive boost in GNP.
I hope somebody gives it a try.

If so, it was only by personal choice rather than Civ trait. Cassiel is not an agnostic leader.
