Out of curiosity, how does unrestricted leaders work with FFH?
Beyond just the obvious insanity, I mean; the civlopedia seems to imply that heroes and worldspells are linked to leader instead of nation, but that might just be how its labeled.

I don't really consider myself knowledgeable enough about Civ4 for a multiplayer game just yet, though maybe I'll look into dedlurking for someone this game with the goal of getting there eventually.

It doesn't always work in the ways you'd expect. I suggest sandboxing any combinations you are considering.

World Spells and Heroes are tied to civ only. Most civ-specific traits, like Sundered for the Sheaim or Sinister for the Svarts, are tied to the civ rather than leader as well. I *think* that the Illians can adopt a faith as long as Auric isn't in charge, while the Grigori will always be agnostic unless Perpentarch leads them (due to Insane wiping out even civ-specific traits once it triggers).


There are tons of hilariously broken combos you can pull off. I'm going to look forward to lurking this smile

That is true of the Illians and the Grigori. The Illians do not have Agnostic as a civilization trait: Auric Ulvin is Agnostic.

I'm pretty sure I tried using Cassiel/Kurioates one time and was agnostic.
