CFC let anyone in that wanted in. They just had to say that they were not playing on another team.

This is such a stupid idea to get involved, so right up my alley. I think the best way to handle access is to let anyone in who were part of the community before the game started. What I've learned from my clan leader days is that big barriers of entry will only stop legit members from coming in. Spies are dedicated enough to jump through the hoops.
