Hey, I proved willing to join your toroidal game when you gave me sweet awesome Highlands looks. I'm flexible.

Only map makers and politicians know what it is like to be truly reviled.

So modern warfare sucks. Here's why: This is just my feint force to get 2metra to open up Samarqad.

Ole 2M opted instead to abandon it; I'll take that, enabling me to at last secure the lovely Taiidan Base. My traditional territory: retaken.

...but you see those great generals die? Yeah those were Cornflakes. He shoved himself a little too deep into 2M, and got wasted for his efforts. He was in game the same time I was, says he'll be conceding to Bigger once 2M is done reaming him or whatever. I am reasonably certain he could have beaten Bigger in the end, but hey, can't blame a man for not wanting to fight that nightmare.

So, from the reviled and odious streets of the Worst Capital Ever, the aptly named Congress, this is the end.

Peace out, brothers!

Yep! Biology baby! I needed to chain irrigation and that was the only way; I have other sheep health resources, so it was just a loss of one commerce.

What are thread reading recommendations once this is officially dead?

Cornflakes' reporting was really good the entire game but that's a lot of posts to catch up on. Still easily the best thread. I'm not sure how much you'll enjoy bigger's thread but the action there when he gobbled up cornflakes' azzastan holdings was interesting, if unfortunate. I was rooting for CF in this one, both for his good reporting and so I could take credit for the win. I think if he had won everyone would have agreed that the one or two turns I played for him last year were clearly the crucial turns. shades

Jowy's reporting was solid throughout, even after his ballin pants misadventure, even if he was out of the running. The whole war between Jowy and AT was a good read, especially Navi's Mindy's constant urging on toward bloodshed. In all this was a well reported game and the threads are probably all worth reading if you're interested in the full story of this game. It wasn't an A-list roster so don't expect to learn a ton from the games played here, but solid play and interesting interactions is how I would characterize the game overall. That roughly translates to this game had enough blood to keep lurker scum interest, at least mine anyway. lol

...so they're still playing on. Come on, Corn-buddy, just surrender already.

Hilariously, I have now popped another one four times this game.

My apologies for the extra 2 turns. I was still enjoying the skirmishing with 2metra, and wanted to give him a fair shot at recapturing what I took and hitting back (which he did, razing Sheep) ... it was the prospect of the hell of modern warfare down the road that sickened me.
