HidingKneel has some fun with his units. This doesn't accomplish much for him. Main benefit might be keeping the AC somewhat under control. I'm not going to come to the resque anymore. Only if it seems to jeopardize my cities somehow I'll interfere.

Lanun has asked for Metamagic mana. I wouldn't want to give it, but he canceled most of our trades so I gave him counteroffer that includes 3 other mana of his + Iron.

Rites of Oghma coming in ~10T unless I postpone it for some reason or lose the city building it wink.

I decided to for Engineering and then either Irow Working or Bowyers depending on whether I get Iron from somewhere or not.

Do you have 1 flesh golem or more?
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

I've only 1 Archmage with Body III so this is my only one. Haven't use him for anything since Dragon kill so it still lacks some promotions that it could really use.

I'll probably try to build city of thousand slums to speed up little the generation of the Tower of Mastery. I don't have obvious place that would significantly benefit from it. I'll probably but it in Ocells that has already couple of other towers.

After Engineering, assuming I've sufficient road Network in place, my Earth Elementals can reach every spot in my vast empire in 1T. Map is 40x40. Hasted mages have 3 move, puppets 2 move (unless Light) and Elementals 2 move so they can hit tiles 21 away. Can't really ask for more manouverability wink.

I really should pay more attention what others are doing. Mary Morbus did go to Ilios.

Buboes is also here. Engineering seems to have been good investement. I think I can reach here.

So Buboes. I'll hope to keep my Archmages and their Air Elementals on pillaging duty so Fireballs go in 1st. Ideally Buboes is weakened enough so that I can take last attack with Chariot wearing Crown of Command. I've no idea, if Buboes can be captured, but no harm trying lol.

Fireball I - Buboes to 27.6
Fireball II - No scratch
Fireball III - No scratch
Fireball IV - No scratch
Fireball V - No scratch

ok. I'm getting it. I was apparently very lucky to get even 1 hit in. So heavy hitters must go in:
Djinn - Buboes to 23.4

Saverous has already 43% odds.

Earth Elemental (33% odds) - WIN

Ok not this time. Earth elemetals seem to be too strong to give me a shot. After this normal empire management.

How did you get iron?

I think Domination effects only work on living units.

Few turns have passed. Nothing too significant has happened. I continue building Rites of Oghma and Longbows. HidingKneel still has lot of pillageable improvements. I captured a barb city to get better access to them. Not gonna cry, if this city falls at some point.

If everything goes according to the plans, I should win this within next 20T. I've been accumulating gold to 1 turn Tower of Alteration that should give significant overflow to Tower of Mastery. btw. the hammers from slave go directly to building (not like chops or overflow) so I can cash rush right away without hefty penalty. This also makes it possible to get also the overflow I'll be accumulating over to the Tower of Mastery.

However Both Ilios and HidingKneel still have a significant power so nothing is certain.

Also my only Lunatic did go grazed immediately after building it. You see it in the lower left corner. I probably had to dispand it next turn since he apparently is going to conquer the HidingKneel alone lol.
