I think I'd rather just knock out 80 tanks asap while saving gold, take out sunrise, and see what happens. I might actually need to get bombers to take out Cyneheard, which means 5 turns of research...otoh, I could just leave him alone and take out Darrell, Kylearan and a bit of Whosit for a Domination win. Darrell is only just getting to rifles, Whosit is the same and Kylearan is a fair way from Machine guns and Inf. The gold I'll spend on infrastructure in the new cities (granaries, theatres, banks, markets) and focus on growing them to contribute to the gpt. Or head for Mech inf and keep a medic 3 explorer with the march units for laughs. Or go for naval invasions and spend lots of gold on battleships.
Oh, this is horrible. I decided to try and MM for the absolute maximum amount of gold overflow on this last turn of tech...OMFG is it horrendous moving specs and tiles around. And calculating gold and beaker differences due to city improvements? My head is about to melt...
eot t148, +1074 bpt, +455 gpt, Ind researched, 1 tank due next turn, and up to 11 the turn after that, and from then on let the overflow games begin. Popped 2 Aluminiums, one outside any city radius and the other in my IW city underneath a plains hill windmill. Mining it would let me get the IW 1 turn sooner...well, the swap from the windmill gives -1/+2/-1 f/h/c, but when I finish the last health building, Public Transport, it'll be size 17, -2 health and stagnant on food, so I think that's worth it when you take into account multipliers because that is a +4 hpt gain going through the maths.
Next turn, then, I expect to generate about 2500 gold on the last turn of the GA, revolt to Theocracy and finish IW. T150 I'll do an update because it'll be fun posting pictures of lots of tanks and Rushmore.
List of the turns that I completed techs with a little bit of extra information in there as well. Fairly interesting that early on I'm using binary science, and teching into Alphabet to hide research, and later on I'm researching everything I can in 1 turn, although the proliferation of Alphabet has made that trick less useful.
t105 - Breakeven @ c 310 bpt (Lib)
t118 - Breakeven @ c.560 bpt (after PP)
t125 - Breakeven @ 825 bpt (just before 1st GA)
t133 - Breakeven @ 1255 bpt (just after 1st GA)
t144 - Breakeven @ 1910 bpt (which is about 96-97% of the slider)
The first 3 figures have no Bureaucracy or Academy, the t133 figure has FS and Academy, and the fourth figure is purely theoretical because of the slider restrictions.

As far as I am aware, life's too short for shit like that.
