Some little skirmish or another occurred with the Pindicootanians against poor abandoned little Nakor. It wasn't anything big though. Unlike the massive battles happening elsewhere, that's for sure and certain.

Yeah.  I like having chops 50% more effective. Baffin-bound settler and galley and worker about to head out; they also will have quite a few other cities leeching off the nice new +2g trade routes.

Depends on if you're accounting for the small coefficient of dynamic friction of water ice or treating it as a frictionless surface. I suspect the proper Canadian answer is also in units of beer.
