I'm with 7...one of the points of this game was to foster an environment where a double move rule wasn't necessary. Adding one at this stage just highlights the failure, and arguing over the merits of a specific rule highlights why. By his own admission sunrise089 was willing but unable to do all the bending LP did for an edge. Some of the folks that signed up for this game should have probably waited for PB5. Its a damn shame too, because this was really close to working .

I agree it's farfetched to think LP is purposely manipulating a firewall to bounce other players out, but ASM does have a point that it's possible, and really bizarre and coincidental that such an error would suddenly pop up right at that critical point.
Less than 24 hours previously, ASM and LP were in the game at the same time. This supports your latter point.

I would have banned ASM at least temporarily from the forum if he weren't also playing in Pitboss 6. The script kiddie stuff is borderline banworthy, but it's not worth blowing up another game that's running along smoothly. And I don't doubt that he's capable of coming back in from a new IP and new account that I wouldn't catch. (It's also beyond weird that he bragged about script kiddieing, to LP in chat then on the forum... who does that? Yes, lists of exploits exist for forum software, are you special for knowing that?)

@Mist: Not sure what your final decision is, but I hope you'll stay as admin. Thanks for doing this btw. Hopefully, things will calm down and the game will go on.

4) I will legally make this the most painful pitboss game ever on this forum if I have to just to screw LP unless someone replaces me.

T-Hawk I completly understand your reasoning but on the other side I have my doubts ASm belongs here. Heated discussion over a game - ok. But threatening RL-hacks and other things has absolutly no place here.
Especially as i think Gazzahk hits it.

Which is somewhat better than me because I would have banned ASM and LP for 24 hours to cool down, and said if they made a new log in I'd ban them for a week...
That said, I think everyone here respects your authority and decisions as you are probably the most impartial person on the site.

I just wanted to step out of deep lurker mode here briefly to echo this; from everything I've seen T-hawk does a great job staying neutral on the moderation side and helping out with technical stuff that's way beyond the competence of most of us. He deserves more credit for all the time and effort he puts into this place
